Florida Blue

Terrible company with incredibly nice customer service people who can actually do NOTHING for you when you call as a benefit administrator. Everything is hidden behind generic emails or their website that is non-accessible because its so locked down. But they sure did raise the rates we had to pay with no hiccups - the price went right up immediately, but I can't pay the bill because their systems suck so bad. You wonder why people despise insurance companies, I can tell you exactly why. No real humans to talk to with any ability to actually help customers.

I regret choosing Florida Blue for my insurance company. Next year, when I get the chance, I will choose another company. Trying to get them to approve medications that I have been on for years has been a great hassle. Trying to get them to approve Doctors office visits for Doctors we have been seeing for years again has been a difficulty. Had I known it would have been this hard, I would not have chosen them.

Florida blue a good company but it’s agents that’s not affiliated with them or market place with the Florida blue logo at every gas station in Jacksonville running up to cars signing people up for free information saying it’s not a policy yet they putting you in the system that will auto enroll you to a policy for 5years and you want know until Florida blue call you asking you to pay a bill, and you have to ask them to transfer you to market place and ask for a supervisor to cancel all the fraudulent inquiries. When I been on a policy with another company already the entire time. They having the irs pay policies you never signed up for waisting government money. Florida blue please fix this, they the reason y’all having agents call in now with the customer that started this year. So if so

I feel like it's a scam. We bought the plan which can cover the circumcision and routine daily care for my newborn. My husband even called Florida Blue to confirm it on my due date. When I got discharged, the hospital only charges us the part we need to pay and send the rest to Florida Blue. However, after 2 months my baby was born, the hospital told us to pay the circumcision and the routine daily care because Florida Blue refused to pay. I called Florida Blue right away and had a conference call with the hospital as well. The Florida Blue agent told me he could reprocess it because my plan covers it and I don't have to pay out of my pocket. But after a month, the result is that I still have to pay. We contacted the Florida Blue and Hospital again and they again agree to reprocess it. But

I’ve faced repeated denials from Florida Blue for medically necessary treatment ordered by my doctor at a hospital. They insisted it be done at an outpatient center, but none could perform it, and Florida Blue offered no alternatives. These denials have caused physical discomfort, emotional distress, and financial loss, including out-of-pocket costs for pre-admission testing. Despite my efforts to resolve this directly, Florida Blue has ignored my concerns. This is unacceptable. I’m sharing my experience to warn others and urge Florida Blue to take action and approve necessary care.
