Farmers Insurance - Melissa Bankard

Had homeowners insurance for years from this office and enjoyed working with the people. Always nice and courteous. Well last year or two they been calling and hounding me about bringing my auto policies over. I tried but they were too much on the auto. Well here a month or so ago I get a letter that states, they are dropping my homeowners because the replacement cost isn’t there but if I bring over my autos they will keep me covered. Mind you this is in a letter and I didn’t even get a phone call from my agent or anyone from the office to go over options. Not cool. I will never do buisness with Farmers or Bankard again. Oh did I mention the letter came about 6 weeks before my renewal. Pretty crappy treatment for someone who had been with them for years.

DO NOT USE!!! Pick ANYONE else!!!!’ Claims dept takes forever. Too long!!! Months!!!! Melissa and staff are great. Prices are higher than others. We wouldn’t mind paying higher prices if things got handled quickly. It would be worth it. Horrible. However, their CLAIMS department is horrible and SLOW, and one person is rude. They are in NO HURRY to help and resolve our claim. We are going on two months now. Whatever it is gets pushed to the next week. Delays, delays. I’m wondering if they work one day a week. I will not use Farmers again. Our claim is still ongoing. Ridiculous. We have turned in everything on our part. They don’t seem to care with any urgency to complete the process. When I have spoken to other Insurance company Adjusters they have all said it’s taking too long. Bad Claim
