Farmers Insurance - Hector Zavala

After paying Farmer's for home insurance for 17 years, no claims ever, I received a cancellation notice by mail. The reason? a drone flyover had identified that my roof looked "too old". No communication from them, no agent reached out, no prior request from them to connect about this issue. I phoned the agent, who said this letter was to "cause you to connect with us to problem solve". To which I replied - "starting with a threat is probably a poor way to create a mutual solution" . I am dropping this company - the letter was rude and abrupt, and their agents should be much more proactive with their loyal clients. This could have been avoided - now I will warn everyone I possible can not to do business with Farmer's. They willingly take your money for years, but put no effort into decent

Got transferred with him and have nothing but headaches since I started. Does not pick up the phone, office always seems to never answer, will place vehicles on wrong policy or mess up something in your policy and take forever to fix it. Ended up leaving and now still being charged a month later since he’s not canceling my policy. Will take legal action of this isn’t fixed soon. go elsewhere! Not worth it here. Only thing he will do full effort is try to sell you life insurance.

This is the worst agent I have ever had to deal with at farmers . I was transferred to him since my previous agent is no longer with farmers . I have called continuously over the past two months and when I finally reach him I have been told many times he will get back to me as to why my price per month keeps going up and will look into why I am not receiving the discount for having my auto and home insurance through them . I have told him many times I need to figure out a plan to lower my monthly payment because I simply cannot afford it due to it increasing every month for no reason at all . when speaking with him he simply ignored the fact I told him it is too expensive and was looking into policy changes to make it more affordable since we are first time parents and need to budget more
