Farm Bureau Insurance

I have been happy with them for most the last 38 years because they have taken care of the legitimate claims we have made with few issues. In the last year they raised our rates and denied a damaged roof claim on a house we bought which had been damaged by hail (according to roofing agents) because they said the roof was too old. I then had to sign a roofing waiver saying they didn’t have to cover any further damage to the roof until I replaced the roof at my own expense or they wouldn’t insure the house at all.

Had a claim from tornado damage in 2020. Farm bureau did give a partial check for my roof. However, we gave the check to a company to come do our roof. The company cashed the check, and then filed bankruptcy without fixing our roof. We have then since started having water damage. We called farm bureau to see what we can do. Basically we were told nothing that they paid and replaced the roof. We do not have a new roof and now our house is leaking with water coming in around electricity. They’re still not willing to help!

Farm Bureau is by far the best Insurance place in town. I am a ten year and counting customer (home / flood and auto) and there is Not one thing I would change about my insurance company or policy. The rates are very reasonable as well. The people at Farm Bureau always do everything in their power to help in any and every way that they can. Also a random side note, when they tell me they will call me back about something they really DO CALL ME BACK. I would recommend Farm Bureau to everyone. If you need home auto life flood they can do it.
