Farm Bureau Insurance

I canceled my policy today. I could not afford the price hike. I'm not paying $684 a month for 2 15 year old cars. No claims. I even took a defensive driving class through work because I heard that helps your rate. Good credit score as well. None of that matters. Oh well, I found better coverage for half what they were charging. Their customer service isn't real great. Although the new lady I saw today, she was nice.

They totaled my car in October and they took out 600 dollars this month (December 2025) and now they won’t refund me for the truck they totaled which would be around 300 dollars. Let’s say if I had both vehicles still why would my insurance be 600 a month with a perfect driving record. One of my cars is a 2012 so why is it 1100 every 6 months. Well I found another company that was a whole lot cheaper.

I HAD A CAR INSURANCE POLICY WITH FARM BUREAU ON RED BUD LANE IN FLORENCE, SOUTH CAROLINA. I HAD A SIX (6) MONTH POLICY THAT BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 3, 2024 AND ENDED AND EXPIRED ON MAY 2, 2025. MY POLICY WAS TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY PAID IN FULL FOR THOSE SIX (6) MONTHS, AND SCHEDULED FOR RENEWAL BY MAY 3, 2025. [BUT] MY 2003 CADILLAC BROKE DOWN THE FIRST WEEK IN MARCH AND WAS NO LONGER OPERABLE AND FOR THAT REASON, I SOLD IT AS JUNK IN APRIL. SINCE I NO LONGER OWNED THIS VEHICLE ,THERE WASN'T ANY NEED FOR ME TO RENEW MY PREMIUM WHICH WAS SCHEDULED AND DUE FOR RENEWAL ON MAY 3, 2025. [BUT] THEY DECIDED TO CHARGE ME A [BOGUS FEE] OF $22.38 AS A SO-CALLED CANCELLATION FEE ON MAY 16, 2025 FOR A CAR INSURANCE POLICY THAT WAS [NEVER] RENEWED. HOW CAN FARM BUREAU OR ANY OTHER INSURANCE COMPA

Every time I call the office I am met with unprofessionalism and a disregard to customer needs.There have been several instances where I've called Farm Bureau Insurance and was met with a disregard of the issues that I've faced. Within the past two years of being insured with the company my insurance has went up twice and things were done out of order. Firstly, being told that my insurance has increased due to "driving my vehicle more" was completely foolish. Secondly, receiving a letter that a driver was added to my insurance without even asking or notifying me, then immediately removing the secondary driver from my insurance I was still charged for him. Service WAS great all of a sudden my already outrageous 6 month premium jumped up like 900 dollars from what they say was a "rate increase across the board" so my payments went from 270 a month to 430 a month. Who pays the same from insurance as they do rent!! There was NO notice of this never got the paper in the mail and TBH they could care freaking less about it which means they could careless about there customers they want money and money only.. Feels good to finally speak truth on this company!!!
