I spoke with Tracy and she assured me that calling EMI was the prudent and right thing to do. It is very frustrating on the patient side of things especially when Dr’s offices incorrectly code / pay claims leaving us in limbo making multiple calls so as to ensure the dots are all connected. I am thankful I spoke with Tracy this morning really helped me out in a number of ways she is a real problem solver!

I just got off the phone with Alexa, who made sense of several dentist bills. She listened and. helped me resolve issues from a dentist that was in network. Their coverage is very good and the communication is excellent. I would highly recommend EMI health!

In talking with the sales representatives of this place- PAT is absolutely incredible. Unfortunately there was a delay due to an overlap with Market Place and EMI's insurance. The first representative I talked with- Andrea, was AWFUL. She was rude, unable to show compassion, deliberately avoided sending me to another representative after she blamed me for an issue that was completely due to Market place sending over their information 2 weeks late- and then when I asked to speak with someone else she said "for what", and proceeded to ignore the request and place me on a 20 minute hold. They have been extremely difficult to work with. Claims are routinely denied automatically, followed by requests for information that was already included in the original supporting documentation. This has occurred multiple times without resolution. In addition, I contacted customer support on separate occasions to confirm whether a specific procedure was covered and received conflicting information from different representatives. Both times i provided the exact same coding and information. Most recently, when I inquired about the status of a prior authorization for a medically necessary surgery, I was told it was “in process.” I was further informed that in order to expedite the request—meaning reduce the review time from approximately one month to two weeks—my physician would need to c
