Douglas Brown: Allstate Insurance

I had Allstate homeowners 22 years. I just paid off my mortgage and assumed I had money in escrow. I also assumed AS would begin to bill me my insurance bills. After three months AS sent me a letter stating I owed over 3K and my insurance would be terminated in two weeks if I didn't pay. It also said my insurance was still being billed to a third party. Paying off a mortgage is new to me so I guess I shouldn't have assumed anything. But all I recieved from AS was the threat of canceling my insurance. I will be dropping AS asap.

Agents periodically checked in after an accident I was involved in. They hey made me feel like they actually cared.

My car insurance was lost and Allstate didn’t reach out to me. Extremely poor customer service. Not sure what I was paying the agency for.

Wanted to add one person to my policy as a driver of my car. Was quoted $29 a month. We then got a bill for five times that amount and they have no explanation and will not fix it we have dropped you and we will never go back

I appreciate DJ being on top of my insurance, the communication and the professionalism him and his team provide. It is nice to call and have a live person who actually knows who you are answer the phone and answer your questions. I highly recommend DJ.
