Where do I begin?…. Inept, lazy, incompetent are the first words that come to mind. I purchased a homeowner’s policy and paid it in full the day I signed the policy. I sold the house approximately 7 months later. The day after closing I called and spoke with Jenny (owner) and informed her I need to cancel the policy because I just sold the home. 3 days later I receive an email requesting my signature for cancellation approval. Three months later, I call to follow up because I haven’t received the refund check for the remainder of my policy. I’m told they have no record of me requesting a cancellation; then miraculously find it. They submit the cancellation. I call 2 weeks later to then find out they can only back date it 30 days because they need proof of when the home was sold! I could h

I was referred by a friend to obtain private flood insurance. I spoke with Jenny and she was great. She sent my quote very quickly. I tried to make contact with her to start my policy and pay for a full year of coverage with no success. I spoke with their receptionist. My receptionist called again. We left several messages and never did get a return phone call. I’m not sure if there is a poor line of communication in their office or they just didn’t need my business. Hope they can do better in the future.

Called to get a quote and told I could come in. When I went in the person said they didn't have time to give me a quote because they were too busy. I then got someone else to give a quote and then he was to call back with additional info and did not do so. When I called he didn't even want my business. Very poor customer service.

I've worked with Dorsey insurance agency for years and would implore everyone to use them. The policy's, premiums and customer service is beyond what you'd usually expect. Jenni and Jacque are always friendly, hopeful and professional!
