Called to get a quote and the agent made every excuse possible to avoid quoting me. Very disappointed with the level of customer service. I myself work at an agency, and calling 20 minutes beforehand is more than enough time to provide a quote.

This quote, issued by Devonne Edwards’ office, included my accurate annual mileage, loyalty discount, and coverage selections. I paid this premium in full. A month later, my premium was retroactively increased to $1,780.38 with vague explanations about “loyalty discount moving from 6 years to 4” and “corrected mileage.” I never changed my coverage or driving details, yet the office decided I now owed more — after payment had already been processed. I was transferred to this insurance agency, due to my agent retiring. Was a lil skeptical, until I visited the new location. Great area, inviting ambiance and friendly service desk. I was surprised Devonne Edwards of State Farm came out himself and conducted a personal meet and greet with me. He also helped me and updated my insurance himself. My personal opinion, this was a great first impression to open a new business relationship and get to know who’s representing you. He didn’t seem like the Typical insurance vulture.
