I originally started with State Farm a few years ago when I needed someone to insure my Ram 5500 (technically a commercial vehicle) for personal use hauling a camper. After being denied by some of the other well known companies, a friend recommended State Farm to me. I worked directly with my own personal agent (Carolyn), who was very attentive and knowledgeable, and took the time to understand exactly what my needs were and helped craft a policy to fit. She is always responsive and helpful, and it nice to have a real person to deal with instead of a rep at the other end of an 800 number. In addition, because of the excellent service I got during that initial policy experience, I have shifted several of my other vehicles to State Farm as well.
