David Curtis: Allstate Insurance

Dave gets me all my questions answered.

These folks worked very hard to get me the best deals on things that they didn’t insure. ATV, boat, cabin. They neatly bundled it all up under an umbrella policy. Very responsive to calls and emails.

I had my home, multiple cars, boat and umbrella policy with Allstate for over 30 years while living in MN. During that time I had a huge Maple tree crash my roof moving us out of our home for 6 weeks, my wife drove home with white paint all down the side of her car with no explanation, my wife either lost or had an expensive diamond bracelet stolen and we had our boat lift damaged in a storm. In every one of these situations Dave Curtiss and Allstate fully covered all damage in a very timely manner. -Doug S

Dave Curtis has been great. However I would never recommend alstate to anyone. Every house on my block is getting new roofs due to hail. Mine However was denied every storm we have. I'll be moving my 3 cars, boat, home, and cabin to another company as soon as I can. Very sad as Dave Curtis and his team have been great but the claims department is terrible

Price was decent, for a short period of time. Compared prices months later & they were going to be considerably higher. When I brought it to their attention, they claimed they can't do anything about pricing... I haven't found a company yet that operates without being able to adjust their prices in order to keep business... So in my opinion, use them for a few months, but keep getting quotes before you renew with them! Then switch once they're no longer the best priced company for the same/similar deductibles, maximums & levels of coverage. All insurance companies sell the same thing after all... Nothing.
