Darron Kendall: Allstate Insurance

We had been with this establishment for over a decade prior to Darron owning it. Our rental property received a non renewal because the agent and insurer no longer did business from a farmed out insurance so we brought it his attention 4 months ago. This non renewal was not because the roof is 20 years old. He recommend waiting till closer to the non renewal date. At over a month from the noon renewal date he recommend a company to get a wind mitigation and 4 point inspection to open possibilities of more insurers which we gladly did and using the company he referred us to. The inspection company said we still had 5 years left on the roof. We followed up two weeks later to find out he had nothing to offer for homeowners insurance to us so we would be left with no insurance possibilities

After an accident involving my girlfriend—who had my full permission to drive my insured vehicle—Allstate is denying coverage, stating she wasn’t listed on the policy. This has left me liable for over $70,000 in vehicle debt, plus damages and medical expenses from the other party. At no point over 7.5 years did Mr. Kendall explain that permissive drivers would not be covered unless formally added. This key detail was never disclosed at signup or during any policy renewal. I had no way of knowing this would void coverage in a time of emergency. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and feels like bad faith. As an agent representing Allstate, Mr. Kendall had a duty to clearly explain exclusions. His failure to do so has now placed my financial future in serious jeopardy.

We were looking to find an agent closer to us just for convenance. But why bother when Darren and his staff are so willing to go above and beyond to give customer service to the TEE, Keep up the fantastic work and the professional service. always looking to help us not only in service but in helping us save on the cost of Insurance. For the most part people are friendly enough, unfortunately they don’t have access to reasonable insurance for older beachfront homes. They would not assist in helping me cancel my policy carried by their office and insisted insisted my new carrier process the cancellation request.

Darron went out of his way to get things handled for me and my family. And Michelle was the best, couldn't find it any better
