Charles Stewart: Allstate Insurance

I was trying to notify the agent of the death of the insured (my mother). I left messages, was referred to another agent and called customer service. I called the office again and was able to speak with someone. Once I explained why I called, my questions were answered and the appropriate changes made. Had the office responded timely (it took nearly two months to make contact) I would have given them five stars; once contact was made, things moved quickly, and they were very apologetic. I hope my experience provided a learning opportunity for them.

I've been an Allstate customer for over 15 years. Never had a problem. However, my experience with Charles and Shara has been terrible. Charles is rude and short, especially for trying to keep customers. Shara, while easier and more professional to deal with appears apathetic and does not follow up on inquires. I wanted to lower my monthly fee and was awaiting results from Allstate. I never ONCE received an email or call back from Shara. I followed up a couple weeks later and she said she would call me the following week. I gave another couple weeks and again did not hear anything. I called her and said that she still did not have any updates nor could tell me when she would know anything or what steps she would take next. I have been working on lowering.. just trying to see if I could low

Justify a 34% increase in the auto premium on two 20 year old cars that were driven a combined 2,023 miles over the previous 12 months and a clean DMV driving record. They can’t return calls because integrity might be exposed.

I have been with Allstate for 18 years and since Charles is no longer available or around. Sarah (Charles neice) has taken over the agent roll and in my opinion unprofessional. I have tried to deal with the Agency and the follow up was very bad. There was time where her knowledge of the business was not there. Since then, I have went to another insurance company and asking friends and family to deal with another agent. Again, my gripe is not with Allstate just the agent Sarah.

I been a Allstate customer for over 20years and I will continue to be a customer for years to come. The agents and their staff members are so wonderful. Even the customer service department is outstanding.I always recommend allstate to my Co-workers, friends and family.I have sent several people and their are very happy with their service.
