Our local home town home insurance company! Please visit our agency at SLP Agency Inc on North Fayetteville St to obtain coverage. CFM may have some old low reviews but things have changed for the better!

I had insurance with them for many years for multiple properties with no claims. Had a storm event hit the area with multiple people having damage. Would not pay for the roof replacement for a section of my home where wind blew trees onto it. I pay all this money for all of these years for no assistance when needed. I am moving all of my properties to another company, hopefully they will be better to work with. I do not recommend using them for your insurance needs. If it costs you a little more upfront it is worth it be be covered when needed. What use is a homeowners policy if they refuse to cover damages?

The customer service has been on point everytime. I am so impressed with how they handles my claims during Hurricane Helene. Today I needed a decleration of insurance and after a quick call it was in my inbox in less than 2 minutes. Thank you for the consistent great service!!

Currently have two issues with this insurance company. 1 we need a new roof. Due to damage beyond our control, it has effected our garage ceiling into area, ceiling in our bathroom. They have stated that we do not have enough damage to warrant a new roof repairs. 2d claim, attic fire resolving from upstairs air condition found from air condition maintenance. Both A/C replaced. Submitted Claim. Due to us not following there procedures, we was denied reimbursement.

Awful experience. I had a pipe to bust in kitchen and 2 cabinets need to be replaced. My cabinets has been discontinued and they refused to replace all my cabinets or paint them, they said they don’t color match. So over $5000 has to come out of my pocket so that my cabinets all match. Then I get a letter that they are dropping me. My insurance is escrowed so never has it been late. 9 yrs and only 2 claims one for hurricane had to get new shingles. I was talking about switching to USAA anyways. Now I know why this company was lower, you get what you pay for.
