Blue Water Yacht Insurance INC

I purchased a boat policy from this company and sent a check for the premium. I never received the coverage but they cashed my check for $1453. Been waiting on a refund since June 6, 2018. They will not answer my calls nor emails. Please do not do business with this company. I had to retain an attorney due to this matter.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! I took out a policy for a boat knowing I would be selling it in a few months. They quoted one that would proportionally refund the premium. When I came to claim the $2,322 due refund they offered $634. I have now been chasing them for over two years to try to get even that but they keep promising and nothing happens. Sent a check once for $609.64 but it had expired before I received it! They are great at taking your premium but I would hate to have to make claim. The insurer confirmed that they had sent the refund to Bluewater. Basically a dishonest organisation. Avoid like the plague!

This is absolutely the worst insurance agency I've dealt with in 30 years of insuring homes, investment property, cars and boats. They don't return calls, they don't return emails-they just collect your money and then ignore you. When you do have a claim, the owner Don will call and yell at you saying you have no coverage or it does not meet the deductible. When I finally had one important claim, I gave up trying to file with them and had to call the insurance company they underwrite for to get my claim filed. It is too bad there is not a negative star you can give them. Don is the most unprofessional, impolite, and hateful person imaginable and his staff isn't much better. There are many choices for insurance, Blue Water Yacht Insurance in Jupiter, Fl. should be your last.

Never worked in 30 years with such a bad company, they might not even send your premuim to the insurance company's. I cancelled my policy, unused portion was returned to Blue water by the carrier. Blue water has kept it for months. Never ever use this company, you probably don't even have a real policy. Hate to see what happens if you actually make a claim, probably left with nothing.

This guy scared me from the beginning when I looked him up on the innerweb but a friend had referred him so I called him. I talked to him a couple times and sent in a quote request and have been calling him for a week now and cannot get answer back nor a quote so I would hate to have a claim with them
