Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas

Horrible insurance company. They will defend their decision to not receive care. At this point you're better off trying to self pay or use medicaid.

I truly think more Dr. take Medicaid than Blue Cross HMO. Honestly. It is free with the government contribution and we rarely go to the doctor so I keep on but I would want more if I was paying full $ for it. Customer service people are good at what they do though when you get to them. So no fault in the people just the system. And it is worlds better than a year ago.

Worst insurance company I have ever had the unfortunate experience of trying. They cannot get billing right, they cannot communicate with their "customers", they cannot get insurance cards mailed out, they cannot get payment information right, they want to get paid for a period of no insurance, THEN they put me in an HMO (I work away from home) and referred me to a dermatologist that doesn't even have a dermatologist on staff! Is this really what I am paying for?

I keep getting harassing phone calls from Lisa? I work nights 6 days a week as a pharmacist. I don’t even have an account with these people & live in another city. She has called 10 times in the past week and I decided to call her back and called her a few colorful names. I called BCBS Texas to report harassment and they don’t even exist. TOTAL SCAM WITH someone named Lisa W. Called her a name that starts w C and ends w T and it’s not cat. BEWARE THEY ARE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH BCBS!

Worst insurance ever, they can't even get me a primary care, all the times I've been trying to get an appointment with a primary care and is not in my network, again don't waste your time and money with them
