Bearing Insurance

Originally, we had gone through the Banker’s office in Staunton to get homeowners insurance. At the time, we were assisted by Kim Welcher and Deb Wolfe and our experience with that was efficient and pleasant. Therefore, nine months later when we wanted an umbrella policy and to renew our auto insurance, we reached out to the Banker’s office in Staunton again to get quotes on those two items. I was informed that our account manager had changed to Kristen Finch. Would have been nice to have been notified of this when it happened, but not a big deal (or so I thought at the time). Ms. Finch replies that she’d be happy to get us quotes for auto and umbrella and asked me to send her our current auto coverage page, which I did. Have dealt with Bankers Insurance for many years, and I find them to be very helpful and professional. The rates are reasonable, the staff are knowledgeable in their work, and courteous. I always deal with Loretta from the Staunton office and I would classify her as a true insurance angel.

About 5 years ago I went to Bankers for all of our business insurance. I was told how great our Selective GL policy was and to add errors and omissions for extra protection. They had our GL, workers comp and vehicles. Fast forward, after 46 years in business, we never had a claim until an employee botched a job. The policy was worthless! Errors and omissions paid a very small fraction, leaving us holding the bag and paying for the repairs out of pocket. When I had an attorney look at the policy he said it is full of verbiage to get them out of paying. I wrote letters to Selective as well as Bankers, and never received a reply! The agent's words, "I'm sorry". For an agent to be in the insurance business for over 40 years to sell a junk policy is beyond me. Shame on me for trusting him! I

Bankers has always been extremely responsive to my insurance needs. The representatives aid come in contact with, Stuart Brubaker and Loretta Grimm are always professional and extremely helpful. I recommend this insurance company.

Debbie Wolfe continues to be above all the rest when it comes to my insurance needs. She is always trying to find me the best deal that not only saves me money, but still gives me the coverage I need. So glad she is always on my side!! Robert Shawkey ~
