Basin Pacific Insurance

My former mortgage company had initially set up property insurance on my rental. I have been so pleased by the customer service over the years that I chose Basin for two new rental units. They actually answer the phone instead of making customers waste a ton of time with automated systems. Dave has been the agent handling my accounts, and he always responds the same day. He is very on top of things.

I don't believe they actually "Tried" at all. After a couple calls, and two days of reaching out to them, I finally received **1** insurance quote. That was higher than the one I'd told them I wanted to beat, from a random carrier I'd never heard of and could find no reviews on- and they wanted it all in one lump sum. 10 minutes later I was done checking a couple more carriers, and found liberty mutual at around half the price they quoted. Some insurance brokers are great, these aren't.

I was charged for another months insurance even though I cancelled 5 days prior. They said it wasnt their problem and I would have to call the btis place that charged me. Will change my review once I get my money back.
