They troll mortuary/cemetery corps to sell their burial plan. Then they flip it to True Stage. True Stage has the worst off shore customer service!!! They insist on sending forms by mail! They do not mail said forms until customer makes two calls and mortuary makes three calls for service!!! They will not fax the form to the mortuary. After a month and a half to two months a form is sent only to containing one sentence!!! The customer could have typed this one sentence with their signature and a witness signature! No fax number is printed on the letter or the form. This forces the customer to call back. Their AI robot that answers the call takes 5 minutes 20 seconds to go through the prompts. When a service request is applied by the client, best buy protection should now in this age of modernism provide the customer with time line where the decision has been made and what measure is being taken to complete the request. I had a 3rd party service technician come by and check my TV. The tech informed me that the company that he works for will provide an answer if they will repair or replace the TV set. The tech was very kind to let me to wait 1 week and call his company for update. I waited and the company rep informed me over the phone that the insurance company will not repair and that I should contact Geeksqaud at Best Buy for the next step.

If I could give a lower score I would in a minute. Bought their extended warranty through Nebraska Furniture Mart when we purchased our appliances. The refrigerator started having problems in July 2020. Fan went out and took 2-3 weeks to repair. Not ideal since it was our refrigerator. It went out again in September. Same vendor was contacted. First technician did not show. They did not call to let us know he wasn't coming so we waited all afternoon for nothing. When I called to reschedule, they said it would be several days before someone could come out. After escalating to the owner, another technician was sent. No communication with this company at all.. Tried to contact them, but they say I don't have a policy when I do. Seems they can't locate my ins policy, even with my ssn.. But they have no problems with the automatic withdrawal of payment they have been getting. Cut that off when I closed my bank account and moved to another area. Now receiving letters saying they can't get my payment and I'm going to lose my policy.. Really? Said I didn't have one. They also changed companies without notifying me, Was Assurant, then American Memorial, and now Trustage.. I don't trust them.. I lost a year worth of money cause of this.. Glad I found out before I passed away.. Only reason they got a star from me is because I couldn't post without it! I DON'T TRUST COMPANIES LIKE THIS!!

Not a very straight forward company. I've called several times trying to get an updated copy of my insurance policy for 3 years and still haven't received it. When my father was in the hospital, it was said he didn't have long and the company still would still be an updated copy of his as well. They have very poor communication and lie every time they say they mailed something out. The only thing they main out is the bill. Everything else is just lies. I even asked if it was a legitimate company once because they never send what I ask for even though they tell me it's coming. There are several other companies to go with for your life insurance needs, Assurant is not one of them. Please go elsewhere. Don't let the excellent customer service fool you. Because that's the only thing they have
