Amica Mutual Insurance Company

By far the best insurance I have ever dealt with. Been their customer since 2015 and insured all my cars and houses and couldn't be any happier with their service. Their customer service surpasses American Express', which have been excellent for me for over 4 decades. Thank you Amica! Keep putting your customers first!

This company is pretty awful. I got into an accident and the person who hit me had Amica. They could not come to an agreement on repairs with the repair shop and I did not get the necessary repairs. The person assigned to my case Haley Neely, was hard to get in touch with when I needed her and was very slow to respond. It was so much conflicting information I got from Amica. I got one repair and just decided to cut my losses with the others. Poor service all around. I hope to never deal with Amica again!

Amica provided terrible customer service after my vehicle was hit in a parking lot by their insured. Specifically, they were not responsive to communication and they took nearly 3 months to look into the case. The ongoing issue was the lack of a statement from their insured. After 3 months, they still did not have a statement and denied the claim. When speaking on the phone with them, a senior claims rep and the supervisor were abrasive and plain out rude. If there was an option to give zero stars, I would have selected that rating. I have never seen this level of terrible communication skills and customer service.

I have been a loyal Amica customer for almost 12 years for my personal vehicles and my home. For my 6 month renewal this go around (ONLY AUTO INSURANCE) went up 77%, without any claims on my Auto and all they can say is inflation and parts are more expensive because you cant find parts. I thought they were governed by the states on increases, but I may be wrong I guess. Progressive is more than what i was paying last 6 months but by 2 or 3 hundred dollars. and this increase is just on the renewal for my car and does not include the renewal for my home. Run stay away find someone else they don't value customers, anytime you change a vehicle on your policy, your rates never come down. they still increase. Had a great experience with Amica, but we never had a claim so I can’t speak to that process. insurance in general has become a game of “we will insure you but we will remove 98% of our risk”. They make you sign wavers for “cosmetic” damage, emit numerous items from their coverage, and out limits- major limits on others. Insurance is really just for catastrophic events these days. Hardly seems worth it…..until something really bad happens. Kinda like lawyers!
