Aetna

Do not use. They care about profits over health. They are now refusing to fill my meds for 30 days (against my doctors request for medical necessity) because they don’t care about patients in the least. Their care and leadership are part of the systemic problem with their greed and they could honestly care less, just keep shoveling money to them but heaven forbid you’re mad at their bad care.

They didn’t pay the bill to my “in network specialist”, saying I already reached the maximum number of preventive service. I made a countless calls, we clarified the error (according to them, it was related to codes and invoices.) still denied payment, they suggested to submit an appellation, I did it and guess what: the result was the same. So they said I have to hire a lawyer to dispute. At the end I gave up and send the payment to my specialist. (All this trouble for $260) I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY !!!

A representative from ADP misquoted my entire company for months on quotes for insurance. Realized her mistake on 12/13/2016, and now my entire company may loose insurance. We are still waiting for a reply form your underwriters. What a great Christmas right?? After all of these years with Aetna.

Worst insurance company in my life! Aetna left me in danger of my life and didn't care about me! I was bitten by a raccoon. As you know, raccoons can be carriers of RABIES ( a deadly virus!). After the bite, the medical Protocol provides for 4 vaccinations on strictly defined days. Aetna DIDN't HAVE that vaccine!! And she didn't provide me with anyone who could give me the vaccine. I had to make the first vaccine not from the provider ( $ 425!). After that, I 2 times filed a claim to Aetna to refund my money. But Aetna didn't reimburse me my money! I STRONGLY DON'T RECOMMEND to be Aetna's clients!

Customer Service is outsourced and extremely unprofessional and disconnected.. I have a dying patients just need to verify benefits and the agent doesn't understand anything
