AEGIS General Insurance Agency

I have an active insurance claim since Feb 06,2026. today is 2/13/26. I've attemped to speak with anyone at AEGIS without a response from this company. Calls have been ended and disconnected; automated phone system states to leave a message and someone will return my call. NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY NUMEROUS MESSAGES. I pay monthly insurance premiums for absolutely NOTHING. Your company has zero customer service.

I don’t even believe that this is a real company. I believe this is a company that is made up and takes people money. I’ve called twice to put in claims and was redirected somewhere else when they take money out of my bank account every single month spoke to someone by the name of Scott who told me he was the manager the supervisor of everything there and there was no one else over top of his head that I could talk to. I feel that this company is a scam. They do not provide service of any kind, no matter what it may be they will redirect you somewhere else first before they try to help you they take your money every month and pocket it for their own good they’re not here to help. I would not recommend them to anyone I am looking to have them investigated and all money returned.

Had coverage for a vacant construction property on a few homes and 1 of them had a theft. We reported it for a claim and were told they don't cover that type of theft. So we withdrew the claim, but apparently because something was filed we can no longer get insurance on our house. These guys just want you money.

Purchased 2 tickets to a concert in the Napa region for a local winery's concert. Had to work on Saturday and couldn't attend the concert. Called Aegis and was not only hung up on but was constantly provided links that don't work or are outdated and was told it would take "15 business days" to get a "decision on your claim"... Do NOT purchase ticket protection insurance if it is with this company. It is not worth it. Just sell your tickets on online marketplaces. This company should be banned.

Purchased a travel plan through this agency and turns out the underwriter of the policy I bought is a complete scam. Its been over 4 months since I have submitted my claim and I have yet to be paid. Every time I call I am given the run around. Would give them and the underwriter zero stars if I could. Just a horrible experience over all. Would not use again.
