AAA West Covina Insurance and Member Services

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at AAA, specifically the West Covina branch on Azusa Ave. I went to AAA for this service specifically to avoid going to the DMV, but in this case, I honestly would have been better off going directly to the DMV. I went to the West Covina office multiple times regarding my legacy plates and was repeatedly issued temporary tags with no real assistance or follow-up. After months of getting nowhere, I even spoke directly with the manager, who was no help at all and did not take any steps to investigate why my plates had not arrived. For six months, the West Covina office—including management—failed to provide answers, accountability, or a resolution. Went in for a Personalized California Legacy license plate and Ishmael helped me out . I Filled out all the paperwork w correct numbers & letters , distinguishing numbers from letters. Assuming Ishmael correctly READ the license plate form , I approved the DMV printout without looking. Not knowing he put “ 1 one “ instead of “ I / i “, In the end where I had written “ I / i “ distinguishing it from “ 1 one “ . Waited 2 months and 1 week for a Personalized plate that was wrong . West Covina AAA, hire people who can do a job correctly, I repayed the $50 again ( which is nothing to me , I just re-payed it because I didn’t want to waste the manager’s time ). Wasted time waiting, I have to waste more time waiting for the corrected license plate. Check AAA’s work to see if an employee did

Amber provided excellent customer service. She was very thorough and at the same time patient with explaining the registration / Transfer-process to me. She is a true professional and provided service with a smile! Highly recommend this facility and if possible, ask for Amber, she is amazing!🤩🙌🥇

For the love of all things digital and new, please upgrade your credit card machines to include tap. We’re in 2025 and you guys are still old school With no tap pay. To the lady at the register, instead of spending 20 mins asking me about my membership. You could have easily told me ahead of time that you guys did not accept tap pay and I could have gone home and grabbed my card.

Had a great and helpful experience booking my trip. Linda was extremely helpful and informative. Will be coming back to book all my trips with her!
