AAA - Hilton Head

My wife and I are planning a trip to Europe. We lived there, Germany, for 14 years. We drive rather than using your servicea. I got my International Drivers License there. It was quick, manh 15 minutes You will need to bring 2 Passpprt size photos.

Terrible service. My car broke down right outside of town. Called AAA for tow service. And with all the updates of arrival time it would have taken more than 4 hours for the tow truck to arrive. Took a chance and drove the car home. Next morning at 9:15 called AAA for a tow to a repair shop. It’s 12 noon and still waiting on the tow truck to come. Horrible service, tried calling AAA again and couldn’t get a life person on the phone for updates. AAA system is totally automated and their push prompts keep going in circles and do not recognize the prompts to direct the call.

Everyone in the office was super friendly. The service was quick. I had to drive up to the Hilton head office in order to get a international driving permit. The permit is good for one year from date of issue. It cost $22 for the permit and four dollars for the passport type photos.

Kellyn and Matt were extremely helpful, fast, and friendly in helping us obtain our international driver’s licenses. We drove over from Savannah on a long lunch break and their speedy and caring service were very much appreciated!

Great experience! Talk about fast service! Getting my international drivers license was a snap!
