AAA - Fayetteville

Highway robbery. They were about to charge me a little under 1k to replace a press-on wheel bearing. One, singular, PRESS ON WHEEL BEARING. ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Go ANYWHERE ELSE for honest car maintenance.

WHAT is going on here? I never had trouble with basic service needs, but I see that everyone has had issues recently. I went for an oil change last week, that took 2.5 hours. I did not expect such a long wait time with am 8am appointment. I don't know what took so long, but it wasn't doing a proper oil change. The next day, I noticed that I had oil in my driveway. So I returned and was told it just needed to be cleaned up after my oil change. The next time I started my car at home, oil was pouring from it. I had to call a tow truck to take it to the dealership. Apparently the oil filter was not installed correctly at AAA. Also this is a small issue, but contributes to the evidence that a lot was overlooked: my oil change display was not reset.

Up until this Saturday, I have not had any big problems with the auto repair. However, the current desk staff on Saturdays need a refresher on their job description and customer service. I came back for them to finish the tire rotation started 3 weeks ago but I needed 2 bolts that were stripped and it was too late in the day to get them. They didn't even remember why I was coming and didn't have anyone to do the work. Then I was told that I should have called to make sure they had someone to do the work for my appointment. I don't feel that is my responsibility but theirs since they do the schedule. I doubt they even had the parts as they were supposed to.

Everyone went above and beyond to make our service excellent! Ann in particular was a true Rockstar! She went above and beyond to salvage our vacation with her personal help in facilitating a quick and easy fix to a cracked rim and blown tire! She deserves all the praise!

Absolute waste of time and money. They failed my car for state inspection. Told me in order to pass inspection I would have to pay $2,000.00 dollars in repairs. I took my car to another shop and it passed. They are a bunch of crooks! Do not waste your time or money.
