Waters Premier Insurance

I've been with Jim Waters insurance since the early 80's off and on, and now for the last 20 years or so straight. Always friendly, always gave good advice on coverage and always willing to go to bat for you with the insurance company. Some days I have to admit that Terri is my hero!

I am a relatively new customer of JWI Insurance. Over the past couple of years, I have had to deal with vehicle claims, property related coverage issues and general inquiries around rising insurance cost, coverage and risk management. I have found this business to be professional and caring about its customers. While there have been hiccups along the way getting top service with certain agents there, one agent has been outstanding. Terri Upadhaya has been incredible to work with—she’s knowledgeable, professional, and always provides clear, practical guidance. Terri’s commitment and insurance expertise reflect the high standards of an ultimate professional who exemplifies integrity. I highly recommend both her and the agency to anyone looking for insurance in Idaho and beyond.

Quoted 414$ for moped insurance when I went somewhere else with the same carrier was only 110$ plus added extra coverage for additional 15$. The lady doesn't like to pick up the phone at the desk when I called a couple times in the same day also no call back. She needs to be replaced. ASAP!

Do not recommend. My progressive insurance was fine! David is not friendly and definitely is more salesman than advocate to his customers. I racked up all this money in rewards to help me on the deductible...pay for good insurance...had to replace my windshield and unfortunately my insurance didn't touch it. David was rude and had zero empathy...basically felt like he didn't care. He's probably correct, my insurance did not cover it, but his people skills are horrible. As of recent...my insurance went up $105 from my last 6 months to this 6 months. I sent 4 emails asking about it...zero reply. Still zero reply almost a month later. I switched from him as my rep with progressive to another agent at another company. Paid the premium...and received $149 back. I considered dropping

I've used this company for quite a few years now and it's always been pleasant. Recently the insurance company for our home dropped all their clients with a 30 day notice. David helped me get a new insurance company figured out with a better rate. Unfortunately my mortgage company didn't pay the bill right away and I called David and he got it taken care of the same day! Great company to work with!
