This company is the worst! Paying on my short term disability for 3 years! Finally use it, and after 2 months of runaround they value my claim at $20 a week!!! Yes $20 a week for a salaried employee. This company is garbage and should be ashamed of themselves! As soon as im back to work im canceling them!! I would give 0 stars if I could.

I have had a policy with Paul Revere Insurance which is now Unum for 40 years. It’s a disability policy that pays under $1000 per month. Over the years I have lost more than the required 30 days of work due to illness a few times and did not submit a claim. Recently, I lost a month of work and decided to submit a claim. The claim application is 15 pages long. Ridiculous. I’m letting the policy lapse which I’m sure will make Unum happy since I’m older now. Just a caution to prospective clients about this practice.

Tried to file a claim. They kept claiming the paper work was sent but I never received it. Waited for a month and still no calls from them or mail. Multiple calls from me but everyone I talk to just incompetent. I feel like I’m getting the run around. Constantly transferred and put on hold. After this is cleared up I’m cancelling with unum. Calling the attorney general and the better business bureau to file a complaint.

Never get my check on time. SATURDAY is not s business day. Neitheris Columbus day. Which you know because you're closed.
