Travel Insured International

Run as fast as you can the other way. Choose another company to work with. My trip was canceled to Tanzania last October due to the political upheaval. The airport was closed. People were rioting. People were dying I couldn't even get in the country and my tour company had to cancel the trip. Travel Insured International classified my trip as a "delay"...really? And I lost over $10,000 because they wouldn't pay it out. I asked and asked and asked for help filing it differently...People stopped responding to me...then all the sudden I got $500 in the mail with a letter that said...were not giving you anymore. Really? Check the policy...this company is an absolute joke and I highly encourage you to look anywhere else for trip insurance and read the fine print. If I could give them 0 stars.

I never had to use it, a best case scenario. So I have no idea how the coverage would help in a time of need. Everything about purchasing it was clean and quick, so that’s a plus. I had no problems, but also no incidents where I would have needed it. So the three stars is because I just don’t know how good it is. For that however, I am thankful. It’s better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

I can tell you that setting up my profile for our trip was a breeze, the representative was very helpful but everything was made useful on the mobile app. I received my insurance certificate and break down of my policy on time for my departure it was great. My wife always say “ better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it”. Travel insurance made my vacation seamless, I tell you, there were people with lost luggage and even one of the planes broke down so they couldn’t fly on time. You have to be prepared for the unexpected especially when traveling abroad, so thank you for sanity and all I had to do was have fun on vacation !!.. 🤩 We will definitely be using you guys again for my next big trip..

I had the most memorable experience although I spent the entire trip in my new wheelchair due to a recent procedure which made walking a bit difficult. Nevertheless, I had a wonderful 60th Birthday celebration on the Beyond. Our Cabin was beautiful, my wife especially loved the curved shower. She thoroughly enjoyed the LED ful length mirror in the main cabin to adorn her make up. Beautifully appointed space and layout. I loved the digitally controls lighting concept, and yes the infinity edge balcony feature was a big hit. However, I’m old fashioned, I prefer the regular balcony, I miss sleeping on my lounge chairs.

The Travel Insurance was purchased through the company that arranged our tour. It was simple to buy (they did all the work). We didn't have any claims, so no experience dealing with the insurance company. They keep sending emails asking for a rating; really don't know how to rate them since we had no interactions with them other than paying them.
