Screw TransAmerica! 20 years of paying their premiums without issue. When the policy ended they automatically renewed the policy at a premium at 20 TIMES the original premium! I'm not done with them by a long shot!

I've had the policy since 2006 with no contact and they were able to find me.

After 20 years of having a policy with this group, I tried to surrender renewing the policy due to the incredible increase in cost and my current age. I now, 20 years later find out that they have had my SSN wrong all along, reading an 8 as a 9. After an hour on the phone, they just kept insisting that what I wrote was a 9. Amazing that when you complete a paper application, you never receive anything from the company that you can verify is your correct information. On top of that, within my policy according to them, there are two different SSN numbers. Wow, good thing I didn't die. I will just let it laps. They quoted many company policies except one that said they will keep correct information on you.
