Thankfully I never had to use this renter's insurance. BUT I wasn't aware that they do auto-renewals (no one bothered to inform me about it when I got my renter's insurance), it also turns out I was never sent the proper copy of a policy. The paperwork I got from them, as it turns out didn't even have the new policy number on it. And when I reached out to cancel, I was given a suspicious document with policy number I've never seen before and not stating anywhere that this is a cancellation of the current policy. I was very hesitant to sign it because it looked like scam. The proper document should include necessary language and policy information for the client to sign, there should be no concern or confusion. Another thing was I was pressed to give them my new address before they proceed
