The Toll Roads

No idea why there are such negative reviews. I call customer service and speak to a live, competent, kind human every single time I need something. Just added and took off a vehicle on my account - took me two calls because I didn't have a license plate number - both calls, kind, quick and helpful. I can't speak to all things the toll roads, but I can share that the customer service experience when calling is so far and above what you get just about anywhere these days. Thanks to the peeps answering the lines and helping serve us. Keep it up!

The toll roads of Orange County is the worst most unprofessional business I have ever delt with. They sent me a toll violation for a vehicle I sold and had been resold with a temporary plate. I disputed the fee explaining the situation and they insisted the toll was my responsibility. Their website doesn't work and their customer service is deplorable. Essentially they can send a toll violation to anyone and insist you owe the toll even when you don't live or travel anywhere near their roads or own the vehicle they say uses the road and there is nothing you can do about it. It's just unbelievable that a business can operate like this with no oversight. Stay out of California!!!

These people don't even deserve a start. Worse customer service experience ever. They charge me a fee of $20, and I went to my bank to inquire about the charge because my account wasn't negative. The bank told me this is what they do to steal from you; it is a bit disappointing because it not like my account was delinquent, I was only adding to the balance, so I don't have to think about it and they stole my money. Someone would say it is just $20 let is go but that is not the point it is the principals.

I’ve been a customer for 2 years and this is how they treat people. I was charged for passing through FasTrak when I didn’t even have a car (my cars were sold), so the charge made no sense. I emailed them four times and submitted requests to fix it — no response and completely ignored. I disputed the incorrect charge with my bank and my bank refunded it immediately because it was clearly wrong. After that, Toll Roads suspended my account. When I called, the representative didn’t listen to anything I explained and just repeated that I had to pay the amount to reactivate my account — even though it was their mistake. Awful customer service and zero accountability. If they make an error, they punish you for correcting it. I’m done.

Terrible service, trying to pay a toll online and keeps saying my car is a rental, when it isnt, so i cant ever pay it. Try to call instead and they just lead to the broken website to pay it. The idea behind all of this, Is so that a user will have to pay a penalty for late payments. I almost think, dare I say it? This is a giant scam.
