I recently became a customer of The Hartwell Corporation. At first, I was checking into them out of due diligence for a business general liability policy as I thought I'd already decided on a policy from an Internet based broker that was cheap. After all, I am a millennial. After making a connection with David Martin (who was willing to help me over the phone even while on a family vacation, and he connected me with Isaiah Paz), I realized there was a lot more I had not considered on my policy and the coverage that I needed. I never felt pressured but rather educated by Isaiah. Since I'm in the investment advising and life insurance field, this is really important to me. We have had trouble with our home owners claim that was Safco (Liberty Mutual) through the Hartwell Corporation. Melinda was the only one that tried to help us, she was awesome but our agent was not. The agent we have (Lindsay) we have only met 1 time that was when we were working on the claim for our house. She knows that we are going to be looking for a new insurance company but she has done nothing to help us find one. She hasn’t had any contact with us. Now we are going to be looking for a different agent and a new corporation to help us with our insurance needs. The team at Hartwell is top-notch. In my recent experience, Tori went way above and beyond to help our team solve a health insurance-related issue. She contacted us instantly once we reached out with a solution. The most amazing thing is the issue was with a different broker & when the other guy was falling short, Tori picked up the slack because she cared about us. I called for commercial insurance to fulfill requirements for obtaining Idaho contractor license. Dave did not want to be bothered with me, in his words, it is too frustrating for us to insure small contractors, they never pay the bills. I told him my plan is to be able to bid on large jobs after obtaining a license and he just didn't want to be bothered. I was treating like a child. He was not very polite.
