We had an accident recently. No one hurt that's the best thing about it. When dealing with our agent(s) Cheryl and Janice, its nothing short of a expert, professional, and caring experience. They are TOP NOTCH! Deoanne our claim adjuster was considerate, caring and extremely professional as she sorted through our claim. Bravo guys! You hear horror story about some people dealings with claims, not us and not with Hanover. Nothing but positive.

My Agent Robin from. Hartshorne & Curley in Wakefield are the BEST !! Followed Robin from another agency, our agent for approx 30 years. HANOVER has been great for me, NOT a huge increase each year like the others. Spoke to an agent at HANOVER, about a phone payment, somehow I got her instead of automated phone payment. She was very nice, helpful, and professional !! Another insurance company would probably tell you to try again. Anyway, I am staying with my Agent Robin and HANOVER INS. I have both policies for car and home insurance.

My experience is a mixed bag hence the 3 stars. TLDR: Home/property claim was horrendous; auto was absolutely seamless and pain free. Had a water damage claim to my house back on December 23, 2024. The experience was horrendous. A non responsive adjuster who didn't get back to me after I filed the claim on 12/24/2024 till week 1 of January 2025. Then ghosted for another week. Many calls and emails later from both my agent and I no response. Finally his manager gets assigned the case in mid February 2025 because original guy got fired! This guy (manager) was a hard ass, had to fight him tooth and nail for every last shiny penny. He kept trying to short change me 'on principal' not facts. This went on for another 2 months. Repairs didn't start till late April 2025. It was so bad I didn't ev

Our essential HVAC equipment was ruined, but their team acted immediately to help us get our facility operational again. Our adjuster, Katie, was phenomenal—professional, communicative, and incredibly efficient in handling our claim. Thanks to her prompt support, we were able to replace our systems and reopen with minimal downtime. We are immensely grateful to have had Hanover in our corner during such a stressful time and highly recommend their exceptional service!

I recently had my first claim in over 20 some years on my home and Hanover took care of me with no issues and promptly. I really appreciate being with a great Insurance Company that you can sleep at night and not worrying about waking tomorrow worrying if your bills will be paid from such an event.
