The Farmers Fire Insurance Company

I had car insurance thru Farmers and it got too expensive for me. My agent set me up with Bristol West. Bristol West got too expensive. I got a quote from Geico that was almost $50 a month cheaper. Told my agent ( Kayla Winesickle in Dover Pa) that I was gonna switch companies and she matched Geicos offer and moved me back to Farmers. Now Bristol West is trying to extort more money out of me. I called my agent and she pretty much told me she couldn't help. So now I will be switching insurance companies. Screw Farmers and there love child Bristol West. Been with Farmers for 5+ years now its over. Farmers- they know a thing or two about screwing people because they've screwed a few!!!!!!@@

I made a few late payments but always paid up and was current. I didn’t receive the letter that I missed a payment and when I contacted them Monday 4/7/25; I was told if I paid $xxx that my policy by 4/11 that it would be reinstated if I wrote and email stating no loses occurred during the lapse. Called today to make the payment and was told they couldn’t do that. I was then told since it lapsed I had to have my policy reviewed by underwriting and wouldn’t hear most likely until Monday. In less than an hour I got an email from Kathrine and Mitzy saying due to my payment history they were not reinstating my policy… surprised because how does it change so drastically in 4 days? Very annoyed but will gladly go elsewhere.

They do not inform you of anything via E-Mail or call you what so ever.

All is good until you actually need to use it and SUDDENLY they no longer want to cover fires. Disgusting company,
