Texas Independent Insurance

I received a quote through my loan broker from Samantha Tolon. The cost was slightly higher than another but the coverage is vastly superior, making it an easy choice for me. Maybe not the quickest quotes but might the best bang for your buck overall! I ended up moving my other policy over as well. Will most likely use again for my next builder's risk. As with all insurance, it is impossible to give a fair, 5-star review until you've dealt with the claims department. Hopefully, I never will.

I had a fantastic experience working with John Alexander. Not only was the process incredibly fast and efficient, but he also brought up several potential issues and coverage gaps that I hadn’t even thought to ask about and educated me on a gap I had on my Umbrella policy. It’s rare to find someone so proactive and thorough. I feel much more secure knowing my policies were handled by an expert who truly looks out for his clients. Highly recommended!

This company bought my policies from another independent broker I had for about 15 years. DO NOT use this company. They are continuously difficult to deal with on issues, and when canceling policies will continue to bill your accounts. I verbally canceled a policy, but they conveniently do not recall this and demanded I show where I did it in writing. Something I never had to do with the previous broker when making changes or canceling policies. Very poor customer service - you are a number to them - nothing personal in their service to you. Move on and find a better broker for insurance.

I’ve been using Texas Independent for a few years now. Everyone from Christina, Andrea, A.J., Sidney, Julia, and Heather (although she moved to a different state) have all been great to work with. The firm has a solid process set up which seems to work well.
