I've been using Ellis Co Tx Farm Bureau (Waxahachie location) for more than 12 years now for multiple types of insurance policies and have been pleased with the products and services provided. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. However, my recent encounters regarding a change to an auto policy have been less than helpful. I've received differing explanations of premiums three times from the same staff person. And, the final monthly premium is twice the amount listed on the quote. However, the agent assured me that if I had done the calculations myself (not relied on the information explicitly listed on the quote), I would have known the actual monthly premium amount before even talking to the staffer. This type of customer service is frustrating.

I've had these guys around 3 years. Got recommended to them by a friend at work but he has a different office. This review is only for the waxahachie office. My first agent was a really great person and helped me out a lot. Got into a wreck and didn't really know what to do as far as insurance and all. I called him up and he answered. Told me he wasn't working with farm bureau anymore but he'd gladly would help. That's the service I first was welcomed with. The agent that followed him was honestly harder to get a hold of than a wet bar of soap. I needed something looked into on my policy because farm bureau was saying they were gonna drop my truck. Couldn't ever get a hold of the office or the agent. Finally had to call the office in ennis for assistance. I even had to take a day off work

I've been using Farm Bureau for years and have always been satisfied with how they conduct business. Bill Burdett was our agent for years and when he retired he hooked us up with Ross Hargrove. Great job Farm Bureau!!

Many different vehicals and fender benders over the years and they have been great! Any changes or help I need they are quick to fix it up for me with an easy phone call. After an accident I got ahold of them for the claim and it was more than just business they were concerned about my well being. Susan has been great to us over the years and is so friendly !
