I have used StarMatthews for many years, both for personal and business. Their extensive staff has been a valuable resource on many occasions. Recently we had a lost item of jewelry, and the claim was incredibly stress free. In fact, Auto-Owners issued payment within just a few hours of filing the claim with StarMatthews... I use to talk about this company highly. Barton and his team member Jennifer were good to me at the beginning and then fired me because I was not a lucrative client for them.I started taking my business elsewhere because I was not in their appetite. I also found out that many insurance companies rejected me because my insurance was originally wrote incorrectly. I am truly disappointed by this company. Don’t bother them if you’re the small company, they only want big business.

Terrible experience. I had insurance with them for a couple years at an exorbitant price. When I finally realized I was being ripped off, I tried to cancel. They dragged out the cancelation with extremely poor and spotty communication and them back charged for the entire time of the the cancelation process. DO NOT use them. You will regret it.

Called several days in a row trying to speak to an agent to get business insurance. Finally talked to an agent and he couldn’t help me that day and scheduled a day and time to call me to get info. Then didn’t uphold that time And called me days later after I went with another insurance company. Don’t waste your time here.

We have been with Starr Mathews for 10+ years. Our representatives have always been proactive in searching out the best rates for us and when we did have a claim the process was so seamless! Highly recommend them!
