If you’re looking for an honest insurance agent go elsewhere. Ryan is not on your side as you’d think and agent should be. They will try and squeeze every dollar they can out of you. Esp if you get business insurance through them. Never ever let them audit your business finances. When you try to cancel services through them they WILL NOT follow through on their end and make up excuses why services were not cancelled and keep charging for cancelled services. You’ve been warned. Their services are all over priced and will get better service anywhere else.

On May 18th my wife, called Ryan Butzke of Northbrook Insurance Association to cancel her car and our home insurance policy through Germantown Mutual. It was to be cancelled and the end of service would be May 31st, 2023 and Homesite by Progressive would be our new providers. In December of 2023 we received a letter to renew our policy with Germantown Mutual. It had appeared that even though her car insurance was cancelled, they did not cancel the home insurance. For 7 months we had both insurances on our home. We contacted Vickie at Northbrook and Germantown mutual, and both denied refunding our money for the 7 months after cancelation date.

I have had Northbrook Insurance for several years. If I called to ask a question, Ryan would call back within a couple days. Sometimes the next day. I guess that's ok. That aside, I will keep this as short as possible. Things really fell apart in the last couple months. He asked me to call him back regarding my business insurance. So I called back within a couple hours. He never returned the call back. He did say he was leaving town. But since then I had to make a claim on my personal auto insurance. The car was considered totaled. I was dealing directly with West Bend Insurance company for the claim. They said they would cut me a check. The check had to be re-cut because of an address issue. The 2nd check was sent on December 7th. I called Ryan to find out about the check. He was o

Ryan and his team have been awesome for us for years. We have used them for our home, auto and business insurances.
