Luke is always quick to respond, professional, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is handled with care and attention to detail. Excellent rates(for me anyway), and excellent service. It's important to check Missouri's complaint index online with the Dept of Insurance--the lower the number, the better. Shelter has only a 54, and 100 is average--in fact I think their complaint index may be the lowest in Missouri. I believe they're the 2nd most used carrier in Missouri as I recall. In my case, no one can beat their rate--that's all I can say. I'm paying roughly 81.00 for both renter's and auto combined. I drive a new leased car, have high coverage and low deductibles on both auto and renters--and I'm due for a safe driver 5 percent discount next year for being with them for 3 years and being accident free. We have been searching for insurance required on low-power 49cc Scooters... We were surprised < $80, full coverage... a year! Not being just state minimum and covering my elderly good friend, we will do business for long time. Price is not everything. People we do business with is primary. Awesome office. They have always taken care of me. Unfortunately when I switched to progressive I had still owed money on previous policy. I didn’t receive a single notification or bill on the remaining balance. I would have happily paid it. The only notice I got was from a collection agency.
