We have been working with Secura for liability insurance since 2017. I am uncertain about the current situation on their end , but we unfortunately missed this annual audit. We never had an issue or conern with them up until this last month, and it has been a month Due to some unjustified policy, our agent is excluded from accessing or receiving notifications regarding the audit. The audit was, regrettably, directed to an individual no longer affiliated with us since February and it's from a company seperate from Secura. Anyways, We were taken by surprise when a one-week notice preceded the decision to double our annual premium, based on an estimate, and the subsequent withdrawal of approximately $19,000 from our business account. Somebody stole my husband's work vehicle "the hot rod" Pontiac G5. That person decided to joyride around until he was found by police, they chased him around until he crashed the vehicle off a 30-40ft cliff. We did not think anything would be covered but the claims agents at Secura worked with us on making a claim and the whole process was very seamless. They gave us a fair price, more than we ever expected for the vehicle, they took care of the towing bill, and they had someone remove the vehicle from our property after we removed our items. They even helped with the cost of replacing items that were lost or stolen out of the vehicle. If we didn't have to switch due to our renewal and them no longer offering home insurance we would have stayed. They were great to work with. Would 100% rec

Clearly the insurance company should have paid on the auto claim. The driver with the right of way (me) going straight in my lane vs is the other driver hitting my driver side door with their right front bumper while trying to enter the lane I was in would be at fault.

I got side swiped by a semi in June 2024. The passenger side of my car was seriously damaged and I’ll say all repairs were approved quickly. I got a police report and I got a license plate number of the semi! The claims adjuster - FU was his initials couldn’t have been more rude to me and told me I didn’t give him any information after I folllowed up with questions. Then i got my insurance premium doubled. I had to raise my deductible to make it more affordable. I get rates go up but their adjuster didn’t need to be so degrading and rude when I talked to him. I found him more traumatizing than the semi that hit me.
