I had a great experience working with Nate Hopper at Sea-Mountain Insurance while getting quotes for auto insurance. Nate was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions over email, which I really appreciated since it’s not always easy to take calls during the workday. He was quick to respond and made the whole process easy and straightforward. Even though I ended up going with a different provider this time, the experience was excellent. I’d definitely reach out to Nate again in the future for other insurance needs.

For many years I was incredibly satisfied with the company. Once my rep transitioned to Nate Hopper the customer service drastically dipped. His tone and customer service was not what I had previously experienced. He was argumentative and condescending when discussing or explaining changes. I gave a 3 star because everyone else I've worked with was very helpful and responsive. You would think an owners son would give stellar service.

I was very frustrated by my previous boat insurance company. We were very busy dealing with "life", and jobs, and elderly parents with Alzheimer's. We had not noticed that our auto-pay card for the boat insurance had timed out. We received no notice until the letter of cancelation. And when I called (one day later) they insisted we apply again from square one. For a significantly higher cost. Krista Patten (Sea-Mountain) came highly recommended by some good boating friends.
