I switched to State Farm because they offered the lowest rate at the time, but my experience ended up being frustrating enough that I chose not to continue. Early on, I learned the hard way that their app/website is unreliable for payments (or anything else... it's clear the code is outdated on both). But fine, it's cheap, and online access is more luxury than necessity. Anyway, I had set AutoPay to PayPal, not realizing that if funds weren’t available in PayPal itself, the payment would fail instead of pulling from my linked bank. When this happened, I called immediately and paid from the correct account. No issue was mentioned at the time. I was in the car line when my car decided it wasn’t going to start. I began the process of getting road side assistance through my insurance. I made a call to my agent Rick Johnson’s office. I spoke to Tony because I needed information I didn’t have at my fingertips. Tony said, hang on the line…so I did. He came back on and said instead of waiting for roadside assistance which could take hours why don’t we give you a jump? I was amazed!! That is service that is above and beyond! A few minutes went by and Rick Johnson himself came to the school and got my car running! I can’t believe the hospitality shown to me and my daughter that day and I’m so grateful!! I’m still amazed!! Just taking the time out to help with a pleasant disposition and smile on his face!! Thank you Mr. Rick Johns
