The 2.8 review should tell you everything lol. I record my conversations and not one of them has gone right. Reps hang up on you and you call back to make a complaint the supervisor takes the side of the rep. You tell them you have the recorded conversation and they still don’t care! Crazy! Never again. I live in a small town with very few insurance options but even if I have to move to another state to avoid them. It’s that serious. Uploaded every conversation to my social media for the world to hear 👂🏾 ✊🏾..(edit) I forgot to mention, the renters department is only open monday- friday so if you want to cancel on a weekend YOU CANT! crazy!

Worst company ever! On October 10, 2025, I had an automatic payment scheduled with Progressive for $308.66. By October 14, I noticed the payment still hadn’t posted to my bank account, so to avoid a late fee or policy lapse, I made several manual payments using different cards to make sure my October premium was covered. After contacting Progressive and explaining the situation, they told me those extra payments would be applied toward my November bill. Then, on October 23, I received a random notification saying they couldn’t process a payment—so they reversed the November payment and applied it to October instead. I wish I read the reviews before becoming a customer! what they charge is insane and then I live in New York State is a no fault. State I was hit by a drunk driver and had to wait A month for loss wages and still have not technically received them was given a possible date if they don’t need more information from the employer they were gonna deny it cause they told me I should apply for disability why I pay car insurance and even if I was supposed to apply for disability, why wasn’t I informed of that at the very beginning of being taken out of work? And even though I did nothing wrong i’m the one that has to suffer when you’re living paycheck to paycheck going without two paychecks is not even an option. Where do I start nothing but bait and switch tactics. Non stop policy hikes. Customer service was decent but stay away if your a nys resident

Greasy and sleezy car insurance company. Stay away from these fraudsters. I cancelled my 6 month policy 5 months in and they tried to make me pay for the last month on the policy I cancelled. Greeeeeeasy company, sleeeeeezy company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. These chuckles put a stranger on my policy too and it went 3 months before I caught it, when I asked why they did that they said they sent me a letter in the mail, I never received such a letter from this greasy company and they just put this stranger on there anyway. Crazy stuff. So glad I got rid of them.
