Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

Disgusted, will never go with progressive again. Paid for a year insurance in October 2025 through October 2026. got a letter Jan 16 2026 that my insurance was cancelled, they said I didn't send a form in, which I never even received. Why would I pay a year insurance, but not sign a form? Told me to send the form in and I will be reinstated. Sent the form in, now they want double my year long policy amount to reinstate what is already paid for! Or I could keep it cancelled and owe nothing, but they keep the remaining 9 months balance and will not refund the unused portion of my year payment. Now the department of transportation is coming after me for my registration. I have children and cannot afford this nonsense. Will be contacting state reps and pa insurance commission. Thieves.

The lady in was amazing and so was my claims person who did my process for my vehicle.

I have only liability coverage but the monthly payments are manageable until I can save up enough money for full coverage.

Worst insurance company to deal with if you have Motorhome or camper go someplace else. This company is not for it customers!

So, I havent really dealt with many claims processes before. So i cannot speak for other companies, but what I can say is for this claim it has been slightly annoying. So my car was totaled on a tuesday night. I submitted my claim on the app. The first claim person who contacted me seemed genuinely helpful, but when the car was deemed that it would be a total loss i was tranferred to a new agent. The agent seemed to not be worried about the claim being processed quickly at all. So next week comes around Monday, I finally get a total loss summary since I financed my car, and had loan lease pay off coverage. (It is required to get into another car while it is still showing open.) Well the total loss summary showed it was going to pay out the payment to me and not the loan company. So i calle
