Progressive failed to properly investigate a clear-cut car accident in my case. My legally parked, inoperable vehicle was struck by a drunk driver who was also insured by Progressive. Rather than conducting an impartial investigation, Progressive chose the outcome that minimized their financial liability. This represents a serious failure of duty and unacceptable claims handling. As a result, I am filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and pursuing legal action based on poor customer service and demonstrable favoritism toward their own insured. Takes 30 min of pushing buttons just to get to customer service Do not investigate claims, even opposite opinion of the officer on scenes opinion According to Progressive, it is fine and legal to park on the wrong of the road facing the wrong way on a corner blocking a driveway. If a car pulls out of driveway and hits you, it's the fault of the driveway owner that was parked legally! Starting today. All of my cars will be parked behind someone's driveway! So if your dad dies and they owe you money - good luck with that. I was told to send an email with certain documents attached and to CALL THEM BACK IN AN HOUR so I could even talk about the account. (which I had closed weeks ago) So I called back 1.5 hours later - oh my we can't find the email. By then 30 minutes had passed and still no email. BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND HE IS DEAD. Please develop a "Death Process" so people don't have to go through this. and it's not even over.

This is the most worst car insurance company that I ever have deal with. I made the claim for my daughter's parked that was hit by a lady whom happened to have the same insurance with Progressive. It has been 4 weeks but the claim adjuster keep saying the liability needs to be clear since she cannot in contact with the lady who caused the accident. My question to the claim adjuster is: what if that lady deliberately not answer your call then what are you are going to do about it? And, the same answer: still waiting for the lady to respond in order for the liability to clear. I don't see Progressive have any issues when they are collecting the premium. WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Terrible company that raises rates without any justification. When I called other insurance companies during the same time period, I received quotes three times cheaper than what Progressive offered me. Instead of $360, I now pay $120. I think that says everything
