PLEASE READ. My car was hit by a progressive policy holder. Called and filed a claim and was told that if damages were above certain amount, they will not cover it and my insurance would have to take care of the rest. They undervalued my car by way much less than what it should be and was forced to only accept their estimate and no other body shop so they can save their money. Not just that, but they can only fix the car and replace the parts with aftermarket parts and not the original so how does that make sense. The shop that I went to so I can get the estimate, valued the damages with the range that they having and replacing everything with original parts but progressive still refuse and stated that they only provide aftermarket parts. HOW IS THIS MY FAULT. This is so unfair and to top
Worst Insurance company period. Most dishonest I have encountered... preparing legal actions due to there low ball offers for damage....yes that bad. SMH
Was rear-ended by a Progressive customer. After a week and half they totalled the vehicle. I was supplied with a rental for a week and a day , after not having a vehicle for a week. They undervalued my vehicle and made it a problem to not agree with there value figure. So I accepted their offer. Now I have to travel 30 miles to get a check. What a hassle. I'm not pleased at all .
Switch to State Farm and am paying less than half. Should have done this years ago. Platinum member means nothing , rates keep climbing.
My wife was in a fender bender (9/11/2023) progressive was fantastic. They reached out the next day and set up a rental car, reimbursed us for replacing our car seat, and made sure that our car got looked at right away despite most shops in our area being over crowded due to parts shortages. A few days later our rep called and let us know that there was a chance that the car would be marked as a total loss. They then sent the car to a second shop to get a second opinion. They informed us that if the car was marked as a total loss we would only get 3 days (from the time of notification) of the rental car before it had to be returned. On 9/22/2023 (Friday) at about 2 PM we got a call from our rep stating that they were, in fact, going to be marking my wife's car as a total loss but since it
