Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

This insurance is garbage. I had an accident with a deer where it damaged my radiator, bumper, and lights, and dented a door. I called and called and called, and nothing. They don't answer, they take forever to reply, they don't understand the questions you ask, they can't give any answers, and then they declared my car a total loss without any warning. They really couldn't resolve anything, and even with full coverage, it's useless. This is the worst insurance I've ever had. I don't recommend it at all. Save yourself the trouble and stress.

I've been using Progressive for close to 10 years now, and I was recently involved in an accident with a deer, in which I had to make a claim on my policy. I've got to admit, I was concerned which had me looking up reviews on line on how they treat claims. Reading reviews had me worried. The damage didn't seam bad at all, so I was relieved in thinking it would just go to the shop and be repaired. Then it came to the point where they were reviewing for a total loss. I was very surprised and was thinking I may not get a decent payout on my car. The process took a little longer than expected however, which was frustrating at first, I don't believe it was anyone's fault, the shop kept finding more damage which was putting my car in review and borderline being a total loss. Customer service is awful. Tried calling my claims representative and had to leave a message. Called the main Progressive phone number twice and asked to speak with a human and I was disconnected. Once my car is finally repaired, I will definitely be swapping companies.

Saved 65 dollars a month switching to statefarm and then they charged a cancelation fee. I have never been charged that by an insurance company before. Progressive needs to do better

This review is not specific to this office. I could not find another legitimate Progressive to leave a review that would be published. Copy & paste of review left with the BBB I have tried repeatedly to cancel a policy with Progressive: This policy was an additional policy.That I had to have, because my daughter's vehicle was salvaged. I have 4 people on another policy with 2 cars on that policy where are my other children and I were covered. Progressive added two of my children to the policy that should have only included the one child. Canceling the policy was a nightmare with multiple calls and emails with proof and signatures they asked for.
