Progressive Insurance - Authorized Agent Toledo

I had a very poor experience with Progressive due to a bait-and-switch style premium increase. On 10/22/2025, I purchased an auto policy quoted at $115/month. During the application, I fully disclosed that my 19-year-old son lives with me and is unlicensed with an Ohio temporary permit, and I correctly listed him as a non-licensed driver in the app. The policy was issued at the quoted rate with no warnings or disclosures. About a week later, a Progressive underwriter called and told me my premium would jump to $250/month unless I excluded my son, despite the fact that this information was already known at the time of purchase. I have been with these guys for a long time. I had my first claim. I dont like how it was handled. The cost of insurance is ridiculous to begin with but staying with them has cost me too much. I got new coverage with a different company and it was 1/3 the cost.

This is the worst insurance company to have, I highly recommend not even bothering with this company. I made a claim about vandalism to my vehicle and everything was fine up until it was time for payment. The insurance company authorized certain work to get done and now they are saying no we didn't authorize it. What's the purpose of insurance if they are not going to cover the damage. They keep telling me that this is the dealerships fault. If a substance was put into a gas tank like Drano and it was ran through the car because the car was started my insurance should cover all of the issues that came along with it.. I pay good money for full coverage but yet they don't cover the problems. This place is not for the people they are for themselves and ripping us who pay them off just to put

There were a few issues that came up but they went above and beyond to fix the problems, it took a while but they were taking care of it and me, got full coverage with a better policy than State Farm or Bristol West offered for less than half of what everyone else tried charging me, It was worth the time and saved $250 a month

This is 1 of the WORST Insurance company out today!!! When their not honoring their insurance package their ALWAYS in your bank account!! A rock flew and hit my windshield on the highway & I called my insurance company to get it fixed their reply was even with FULL COVERAGE my windshield was not covered gave me the run around then they hit u with extra fees!!!!!!! I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE COMPANY STATE FARM INSURANCE IS BETTER!!!!!!!
