I had the pleasure of speaking with Bernie Fitzpatrick and i can’t say enough. He was outstanding, understanding, thorough and never “pushed” me through the experience just to sign up. I loved this agency when it was Winooski insurance. The Polly rebrand not so much. I had to get a new insurance company and the agent I worked with said I'm getting such a great deal!!! Now in January I was reviewing my insurance policy to find I was sold a 6 month auto, not a one year, making my great deal terrible. I reached out to Polly several times with zero response. I'm with a new insurerer and agent.

My dealings with the agent were excellent as he provided guidance and clearly answered questions. However, upon receiving information from Progressive, I had a question and sent that via email to the agent. That was 3 days ago and no response to date. I hope response times are better if I have to report an incident.

We had one "claim" since using Travelers and that was for a battery jump. The increase in cost for our home and auto policies rose $28.26 per month / $339.12 per year. I understand that horrific weather disasters have taken their toll on insurance companies, but I'm not happy with their "spreading" their costs across all clients. That said, I priced around and Travelers was the least expensive of some 8 companies queried...

Our experience with David Heath of Polly Insurance was extremely favorable. The insurance company that was insuring our home decided to pull out of Vermont which left us in a trying place. Because we own an older home, many insurance companies are reluctant to deal with older Vermont homes. David looked into several companies over a period of a week or more before he finally was able to find one that would meet our needs. He put in a lot of time and effort to see that we were going to be covered with the same amount of coverage we previously had. It was not an easy job I am sure but he did a wonderful job and we thank him and Polly for protecting our home and autos. Thank you.
