PJ Johnson - State Farm Insurance Agent

Stay Away, overcharge, refuse to refund, disrespectful staff. I had 4 vehicles insured with PJ State Farm. I traded a vehicle, however, they continued to charge me for the car I traded in, maybe misunderstood, refused to refund the money, though I haven’t had the vehicle in my possession. They close at 4:45, odd most every other SF are open to 5:00. So, don’t call after 4:30. The lady who answered the phone yelled and tried to blame me, why would I insure a car I don’t have? Maybe they were upset I insured my new car elsewhere. And now, all my cars elsewhere, even if it costs more.

I've dealt with P.J. Johnson's agency since 2018. I had a great agent then, who subsequently left. The only person in the place who is interested in the clients is the young woman at the front desk. Johnson is at her best when she hides in her office. Having filed a claim and then stopping by the office for information, Johnson's behavior was such that it rattled me, and I'm a combat veteran. The woman seems genuinely unstable. I have no problem with State Farm but I am seeking another agent. A one star rating is too high.

I just wanted to acknowledge Agent PJ Johnson and her insurance agency. They are so in tune with needs in and around the community. I, along with other area teachers was blessed to receive a generous donation from PJ’s agency toward our classroom wishlists. It was a tremendous help! The agency’s kindness and responsiveness won’t be forgotten!

I interacted with PJ several times. She is absolutely rude person with no manners. She snapped at me for no reason after I asked her a simple question. She is very condescending.

I couldn't be happier that I switched to Allstate. Pj seems to have a knack for hiring rude and uncaring secretaries and it makes calling into the office a terrible experience. I shouldn't be surprised though because PJ herself treats clients like they don't matter at all. I called her once to ask why my rates had gone up. After being told it was a state wide rate hike I asked if I could do anything to bring it down. "No." Was the answer. She then followed, in the most condescending tone, with "if you want to look at other companies go ahead, but I beat the pants off Allstate every day." I hadn't mentioned switching to her. She had just given me the green light to do it though. Fast forward to now. I followed her advice and checked in with Allstate. I now have better coverage for nearly $5
